You could say that Concrete Statement began with a craftsman and a canoe. Meet Kevin Gerbrandt; a creative problem solver with a passion for designing and creating objects. Having been involved in furniture making and home renovation for years; it was a cedar strip canoe built using reclaimed cedar that was ultimately the catalyst for a future of creativity in mixed elements. Concrete Statement is a Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) shop based in Morden, Manitoba, Canada. We build architectural and artistic concrete products to be used inside and outside of homes and businesses across Canada. We have worked alongside industry leaders in Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete and continue to pursue the fine details of this medium.

Our goal is to be continuously learning and growing with our clients by finding new ways to incorporate raw and local materials into our projects. Combining natural elements such as concrete, wood, and steel, Concrete Statement creates beautiful and functional objects that are meant to be a permanent part of your story.
